Mission Statement

Striving 2 Serve S2S Inc. exists to be a voice behind the voiceless, defending dignity and rights while empowering families with advocacy, education, and support. Inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37), we believe in crossing boundaries to care for those in need, ensuring that compassion and justice are lived out through service. We walk beside the vulnerable, the elderly, and the forgotten, refusing to pass them by — because love requires action. And we hold fast to this charge: “If not me, then who? If not now, then when?”

We envision a society where every individual — regardless of age, condition, or circumstance — is treated with dignity, compassion, and justice. Striving 2 Serve S2S Inc. will be a recognized leader in advocacy, creating pathways for systemic change while walking alongside families in their most vulnerable moments.

The Advocacy Desk

A Signature Program of Striving 2 Serve S2S Inc.

Overview:

The Advocacy Desk is a community-based support hub designed to guide families through complex medical, legal, and caregiving challenges. Inspired by the story of Ellen Olivier, Flordia Gambles and countless others; this program ensures that vulnerable patients are never left without a voice.

Services Provided:

Patient Rights Advocacy – Assistance with unlawful hospital-to-nursing transfers, physician follow-up, and ensuring patient co Care Navigation – Helping families secure essential medical equipment, therapies, and supplies.


Education & Resources – Providing 'Know Your Rights' workshops, guides, and webinars for families, caregivers, and community.

Crisis Support Line – A hotline and intake process where families can submit cases for advocacy support.

Target Population

• Elderly individuals (especially those with dementia, Parkinson’s, or chronic conditions).

 

• Families navigating hospital, hospice, and nursing care systems.


• Vulnerable individuals experiencing neglect, abandonment, or lack of advocacy.

Impact Goals (Year One)

• Assist 100 families with advocacy support and case navigation.


• Host 12 education sessions (monthly workshops/webinars).


• Develop 3 formal partnerships with elder law attorneys, healthcare providers, and community faith-based organizations.
